  • Availability - how the programme is broadcasted 
  • Styles/genres played - seek to specialise in a genres (BBC Radio 1 Live lounge use acoustic genre)
  • Eras of programming - producers of radio programmes may target an older demographic ( BBC Radio 2 play music from 1960 to now)
  • Brand Image - use advertising and marketing to develop a brand image to suit their target audience: e.g. local radio programmes participating in community events

  • Targeting sn otherwise unserved niche audience in order order to complete in the market
  • Targeting a mass audience to sell advertisers
  • Targeting a well-defined niche audience to sell to advertisers          
          Radio 1 Live Lounge...
  • Uses young presenters to engage their target audience, use Clara Amfo, as the presenter, this combined with mid-morning slots helps target younger audiences
  • To illustrate a commitment to live music, will engage audiences concerned with authenticity in their musicians

     5.  Media language (magazines) - is the same as music videos apart from sound

Similarities- 
  • both features a range of musicians on the front cover
  • both use language to try to crete an inclusive mode of address, addressing an audience of music fans
  • both use a range of san-serif fonts

Target - In need to revise next time. Need to look over my terminology and i need to remember to read the question properly and not miss out any bullet points.
